Meet Attorney Joi
Joi-Lin Hunt got a law degree from Southern University Law School in 2004 and a Master's in Tax Law from Southern Methodist University in 2005. She then founded her own law firm, The Hunt Law Group, PC, and a tax preparation company named Quick Money Tax Service in 2007.
She founded Creme de la Creme Hair, an upscale hair extensions boutique in Houston, after learning that the industry was worth billions from watching the movie "Good Hair." Despite having no cosmetology license or prior experience with hair extensions, her products have been featured in TV shows and music videos.
Joi founded Super Weave Xpress, a hair salon franchise in 2012, aiming to make it accessible to many people and becoming the "Forever 21" of the hair industry. It now has 10 locations throughout Texas and Louisiana and is a multi-million dollar business.
In 2017, Joi entered the auto industry and now co-owns a multi-million dollar auto dealership and collision shop in Houston. She has also worked in car rentals, dealership consulting, and auto insurance sales. As a serial entrepreneur, she has owned several successful businesses in various industries.
Joi wanted to start a business that teaches entrepreneurs how to properly start, grow, and protect their ventures, as well as share her costly mistakes to help them avoid similar errors.
